Did someone verify for you what type of 'Green' it is? 'Signal', 'Viper', etc. It's not listed on their website in Springfield, Illinois so it's a customer car.

Saludos,
Eduardo

Its signal green according to the dealership owner. They delivered it a couple weeks ago.

BMW PTS going strong?

A 10K color? Wow. Looks great though. I'm not even a BMW fan and have never owned one. Never realized they even did it.

BMW Individual is very popular. As an aside, some of the Porsche color-to-sample paints are 10k, as well.

I was thinking maybe it was more like GT Silver, in which case Porsche would be the bargain. So we know that's not right!

It looks darker than GT Silver from the pic at least.

More of in between GT Silver and Agate. Regardless, looks like a great color.

I think Porsche has some work to do on their no cost paint options. As of right now, those are the only options anyway!

The BMW video talks about aligning the metallic flakes magnetically, multiple coats, hand finishing, etc. Sounds very much like liquid metallic paint, which also has a very involved process, small (invisible) aligned flakes which give the reflective sheen and light/dark contrast, and exclusivity that can command such high prices. Here is a cool video that JasonAndreas posted a while back in the 918 forum on the Porsche process.
