Cat. "B" folks with cars at Port
All,
I figured it was time to start figuring out when we may be seeing our cars. Ian conveyed my engine would arrive at Port late July and should have car around 8/21. Has any one with a car at Port received any updates?? With the Cat 'A' folks running 2 weeks ahead of schedule may be we may see them sooner than later. Nick brought up a valid point that the German Engineers may want to get these done sooner than later so they can head out on vacation for the month of Aug.
Is it possible they can get all these cars done by end of July??

Jimmy a couple of days ago while working with PCNA on another matter they indicated my engine arrival date is July 15th and delivery to dealer August 11th. However, they emphasized that these dates were very conservative.
My feeling is they are two weeks ahead and as long as the engines arrive in time if not sooner there is an outside chance they can have this wrapped up by the first week of August.
Now the stickers may be a different problem. The August vacation is sacrosanct and having people miss vacations to send stickers could be problematic for Porsche.

Thanks for starting this thread, Jim.
Will be interesting as Cat B folks post here with updates.
I'm in the same boat as you and Nick--currently scheduled for delivery of car in mid August. Ian told me the same thing, that the dates are conservative and "based on what they are seeing with current swaps" that he "would not be surprised if the car were done 1-2 weeks early." He said that it's taking them about 1 week to turn the cars around after the engine arrives at port.

I received an update last week and yes they are ahead of schedule BUT the schedule all depends on when shipment will arrive. Their conservative dates include three week swap time but it only takes a week or so. The short answer is yes they are installing it faster but no, it all depends on when your engine arrives. My engine is due in on July 14-21. between clearance and swap, it may be the first few days of august which is basically 10-14 days ahead of schedule.
In the meantime, it really does not give me much time to accessorize, license plate holder, radar jammer, tint, clear wrap, new garage, new house, new girl friend, new bank to rob...... the list goes on.

Speaking about the rocket launchers, I saw a post many months ago having rocket launcher stickers on the empty buttons on our console. Anyone know where we can get them? It had oil slick, rocket, and eject markings on the buttons.
Oh, thanks Silverrules, the dam stickers!!!! Looks like we are back on schedule.

New to the forum.
I am a CatB. with delivery in March 2014.
Could someone tell me how to get to Ian directly, I keep telling the girls for someone to call me back with some info and of course nothing.
No one can tell me if the car is still at the port in Amden or here now.
