UK Telegraph, Jalopnik, Autoblog, PistonHeads, and others. Wonder if / when Motor Trend or C&D would pick up the story too. Better yet, Reuters / Bloomberg, as with the original recall story.
Amazing work by Macca, SM, and all those involved.

You know what would be cool instead of the $2000 a month?
A free Porsche driving experience and a CS package in a box with a bow on it compliments of Porsche for all 2014's.
It would have been so simple to look like hero's for so much less $$$.. Still no response to the group from Porsche, still asleep at the wheel...

It's shocking that they don't see that!

Absolutely. Or that Anniversary package that you (or somewhere else) posted? And the (out-of-pocket) cost for them would be minimal. More still, arrange a couple of extra of these will just GT3 owners and they will fire up each other again in terms of brand loyalty. It's shocking that they don't see that!

I apologize if this has already been posted, but coming from a DE event I compared notes w/ another GT3 "owner." His is still on order and yet to be delivered I learned that Porsche is providing them the SAME $2000 per/mo comp that existing owners are given?
I think that's really great of Porsche to do!
Only, I can't help but think that my loan payment is $2300 per/mo, NOT including insurance and can't help feel a little put out given that my pecuniary loss is legitimate vs. someone who hasn't even taken delivery yet?
I hate sounding like a child, but it's really "not fair." Being extremely generous to one class of GT3 cadres and having their heads in up their #@#$% to others????
They must be taking cues from Michigan grads? (go Buckeyes).

est, I agree. PAG got this all wrong. My car arrived at San Diego port on March 6th. My promised delivery date was March 21st so it means for all this crap they owe me a mere $2K on a $175K car. I recently purchased a $42K truck and dealer knocked off $6K to $36K. Do you think I am excited about the $2K compensation?

OK lets assume car wont be ready until June 23rd which means car at the port for 4.5 Months exposed to salt water and bird poop, interior leather exposed to sun, swap my engine, not knowing if the rods will pop again and then give me $6K off of a $175K car. Thank you PAG, I cant wait to buy your Maccan that you just send me the special invite on May 15. I am definitely buying two of those

I think it is extremely generous of Porsche to offer cash and/or a new Porsche loaner merely for a delayed order. My 2009 C2S order was delayed for 3 months, also against the next model year, with no explanation or offer for compensation. The dealer only offered to order me a 2010 if I didn't want it.
But I also think it is extremely generous if they will provide a 110% refund (including taxes, etc.).
