Mazda Miata with a manual transmission hands down! Most fun you can have below 60MPH!
Light,tossable,top down for sunny days,50/50 weight distribution,short gearing,LSD,natural aspirated,it revs and revs...fun fun fun.
Any generation will do except the NC-2006 thru 2014. If you want the latest, the ND is great-just came out.

Fiat 500e

$86/mo. Zero down. Works for my short commute and my wife loves the car.

How can you make an occasion out of Dallas traffic, weather etc during the workday type commute? All the power to you. I have tried - Audi RS4, RS6, M3, black series etc. Back when I lived in Dallas. Just sat in traffic, potholes, downtown streets etc. Shifted away from that model. But in truth if I was a kajillionaire, and money didn't matter at all I would have something nicer for daily

But I do like my truck

Mercedes E250 Bluetec. I commute a lot. I was DDing a F10 M5 which I really liked but for my mission it was a waste.

2014 M5 with 21" HRE's.

Great daily driver... BUT...I just drove my buddies '15 Panamera GTS on 22"s and was blown away how it handled better and rode nicer than my M5.

So, I'm considering a change to a '16 Panamera GTS or used Cayenne GTS to get the V8. ; )

the best car for your needs would be the caterham 620R. If it wasnt so damn expensive id have more than one in my garage. Amazing car...

Now if we want to be more serious, the M5 was my previous car and I miss its comfort and insane power.

Exactly the opposite here. I want every day to be nice, fun and unique as much as possible. Maybe it's not smart, but it's just the way I am.

I tried that 10 years ago, bought a brand new Audi Rs4. Used as a DD. Took about a month to kill the excitement.
From that day it was just another car.

Every car is just another car. Every thing is just another thing. That's why I try to use the best I have as much as I can. We only live once.

What I don't understand is how can you do that in bumper to bumper traffic on a highway or narrow pothole streets in a downtown area, or muddy soccer cleats with the kids. Maybe this has everything to do with what your commute and routine is.

That's the beauty of life, we are all different!

You see these cars as a disposable. I know I have a problem. But to me it's a special feeling every time I jump into the drivers seat of my 4.0! It's actually very hard to describe.

Do whatever makes you happy. We are lucky to be in this position.
