Default SOLD: Carrera III Wheels

I listed a set of Carrera IIIs in the Marketplace. These are a great choice for the 968 because they are almost spot-on ET wise 8x18 ET 57 front and the rears will handle up to 295/30/18 without rubbing.

That is Joska's car. I will be driving it on the autobahn next month. Great looking set.

Yes, imho, these are the best-looking Porsche wheels for the 968. If only they came in 17"...

Yes Jeff, have a family vacation planned to Germany. Not sure on the Porsche museum bit just yet. Wife does not care much about cars. Kinda like your wife .

Default Maybe I'll save mine for a 968

Couldn't resist posting pic of my S4 with the Carrera III's--my favorite wheels for that car. I'm selling the S4 and now I'm thinking to save the wheels for my 968 replacement

Anyone wanna trade for a nice coupe?

Raj, an Autobahn you tube video from the dash of a 968 would be an epic RL post!

Raj,

just dropped in last weekend the original Turbo S gear box and original TurboS Cup suspension. Made a test drive and could not get the smile out of my face for hours. It is so ****ing fast and smooth.

We have to get up around 4 o'clock and look for a nice straight piece of Autobahn and break the 300km/h mark

btw the paint on my rims is a bit special. Try that one. Use the best available professional shiny chrome effect painting and cover it with very fine matte clear coat. It gives a colour like raw finished aluminum. Very good looking in the sunshine

Joska, is your car painted Maritime Blue?

Would you please elaborate a bit on the TS gearbox and suspension? What makes the TS parts different?
