Default Lindsey Instant RWHP Kit - Dyno

I was off today, so I had this done. I wanted everyone considering this kit to know what it does. I noticed a lot of dyno's for the bigger kits but none for the smaller ones. I feel like this was a pretty good result for the base kit.

I'm thinking about a test pipe as well, but haven't decided. I'll post that in a few weeks if I do it. I am not going "big" with this particular car but a few minor reversible mods should be okay.

Looks like chips, FPR, boost enhancer, and WG shims.

Sounds right.

Decent gains for spending next to nothing.

Flea, this was with a stock exhaust w/cat?

I recently converted to a catless 3" exhaust and have been considering the RWHP kit.

Yes, the exhaust is stock and the car has its cat. It has no other modifications, other then the kit.

Anyone dyno a stock 951 or know the stock RWHP for comparison? This looks like a nice bump in power for minimum effort and cost. Thanks

It's an inexpensive horsepower bump, but one that should be watched with a wideband and boost gauge from day one. If you find the horsepower gain to be dramatic, you might be building too much boost and be on short time.

I had a boost enhancer with a-tune, and found the boost enhancer to have too much boost out of the box. I backed mine down to hit 13 psi or so, and the a-tune did a good job keeping afr safe. You don't want more than 15 psi on pump gas, and the stock head gasket rated for 14.7 I believe.

The main thing a boost enhancer does is make you realize what a good enhancement a dual port wastegate, boost controller, and gauges will be.

Would have been really handy had you done a base run before installing this kit.

I've been dailying 18-19psi the past year with zero issues, few of those months on a bigger turbo and e85. Stock blows out at 24 with stock hardware iirc.

I dyno'd 260whp 310wtq with chips, mbc at 18psi, wastegate shims, and 3" exhaust catless with stock downpipe.

the numbers on the chart - are those measured at the wheels or "corrected to crank"?
if wheels, chips + fuel pressure + wg shim for ~60 crank hp is super cheap...

Sorry, by pump I meant 93, not e85.
