Die Hard ($159) or Interstate ($175)?

Word up though: the best Interstate batteries I hear -- from the techs -- are made in Spain. I checked the battery in my car and didn't see any sticker indicating where the battery was made. I haven't had a chance to ask where the made in Spain sticker is so it may be on the side or end of the battery. I didn't bother to remove the battery to see if I could find the sticker. The battery is working just fine and I'm not going to worry about it until it doesn't.
But if you have a chance to look over the battery before you buy it and have it installed...
Sincerely,
Macster.

I have an Interstate in the Turbo and an AutoZone batter in the Boxster.
You should be able to buy an Interstate (MTP-91) for closer to $120. I've seen them at Costco for <$90. Not sure if this is your size. Check.

I never liked the Interstates and always had bad luck with them. I bought a Bosch at Pep Boys for less than $100 for my wife's 996 last year, seems to be good so far.

+1 on Logray's suggestion. Walmart (at least locally) lists as the proper replacement an H6 size, which has 770 CCA and fits the third bolt hole in & performs identically to the monster sized one I replaced.
