Thought I'd post this in case it's of value to other 928 owners.

Carl at 928 Motorsports put the brake upgrade on my '79 928 Spyder together today. Using the brackets from their upgrade kit, we've fit Big Black GTS front Calipers with 993TT 2-piece Girodisc Slotted Rotors (Craig at Rennstore) with rear S4/GT/GTS calipers, complementary Powerslot slotted rotors with the black-e-coating on the hub and vanes, and Hawk HPS Pads Front & Rear.

For any other 928 owners looking to do this same setup, here are the part #s (remember, you need pieces from 928 Motorsports' Kit to make these fit correctly):

Note the rotors had aluminum hats. The quality was impressive.

what are you doing for hub centric issues?? looks like the hat is just floating on the studs. is it not an issue? centering screws enough to get it all aligned?
