TIME TO BUY SOME WATCHES!
For those who haven't been following along...
Toward the end of last year, I started a thread about creating a 928-themed dial that can be put into Seiko watches. Here's that thread.
The end result was this dial:
There are many, many styles of watches that this dial will fit. But, the basic requirement is that it be a Seiko 7S26-compatible movement with a 4 o'clock crown.
The method is that you will buy the Seiko watch of your choice that is compatible with this dial and have it mailed to me. When the dials arrive, I will send everything to an expert watch 'smith' who will put the 928 dial into the watch you've chosen. I will then mail you your watches.
Here's the order site: Shawn Stanford's 928 Watch Buy.
So, it's time to buy watches.
Orders will be open for the next two weeks, after which I will close the ordering and order the ordered dials from the manufacturer.
There are complete instructions on the order site. But, if something isn't clear, please post any questions in the original thread, because the answers may help the next guy. I can always be PMed for problems or questions.

I'm in. Do we order the watch on Amazon and have it shipped directly to you? Guess I should have kept up on that other thread.

Thanks, Shawn. One "Black Monster" coming your way. Website worked great too.
One request: When you take them to the jewler, could you please ask about waterproofness after he opens the case? I'll take the watch regardless; would just like to know how low I can go (I dive...)

Sean,
The step by step instructions are on Shawn's web page. It's best to open Shawn's web page in one tab, then open Amazon in another tab to place the watch order(using Shawn's link to Amazon). You can then copy/paste the Amazon order# and model of the watch, back into the comments of the order on Shawn's web page to link the two orders.

Hi Shawn, just ordered both watch + dial, went quite smooth!
I wanted to be amongst the first 25, turned out to be number 19 already.
Cheers,

Order #26. Thanks, Shawn.
Amazon was offering free one day shipping good for the next 8 hours or so for the watch I ordered.
