Hi Roger.
I've created a 'Listmania' list with 40 watches (the limit) here: http://www.amazon.com/lm/R2EE974AJKX...ie=UTF8&lm_bb=
If you still don't find anything you like, let me know and I'll help you dig something up.
You can always search Amazon for 'seiko 7s26' and see what pops up. Just remember the 4 o'clock crown.

Seiko's automatic movements come in a version with day/date and with date only. I think you'll want to be sure you select a watch that has a day/date movement. The new dial has a window for displaying the day and the date. A date only movement won't look right (IMHO) with the new dial.

Hi Shawn,
Could this one (SRP141J1) be a suitable donor?
Seiko 5 Sports SRP141J1 Mens Automatic Watch at Amazon Men's Watch store.
Thanks!

Okay, Duarte had this to say:
If you decide to go with a 3 o'clock crown, you'll need to order just a dial from me and coordinate with Duarte, because putting the dial in a 3 o'clock watch is $35, instead of the $25 that is part of the group buy.
It's not a huge deal to do this, Duarte is super easy to work with, but considering that I'm expecting upwards of 75 watches, it's an extra step that I don't want to handle.
If people are looking for suggestions for a really nice, not too expesnive Seiko base watch, i really like the SNZH5x series. Seiko really nailed the vintage look with these, right down to the domed crystal, whcih is Hardlex, but looks like a vintage domed plexi crystal. Display back, comes with a bracelet. Classic. It is crown at 3, but the dial will work cuting off the dial feet.
