For Sale 91' S2 + Parts
For sale is a 1991 944S2
Z3T Zyclamrot metallic
Located an hour north of Seattle
-SOLD-
First and foremost, the engine showed a moderate leakdown on cylinder #3 and is most likely leaking from an unseated valve. The engine never consumed coolant, so I don't beleive it to be a head gasket. I just don’t have time anymore to get this car up and running properly again.
The motor was replaced about two years ago with a good used motor with 179,xxxmi that had excellent compression across all cylinders. A front reseal, water pump replacement, and tensioner pad replacement, among other things, was done prior to purchase of the motor. The clutch was still in great shape and was reused. The motor has about an additional 25,xxxmi thus far, since motor swap, and under 2 years since the last timing belt/balance belt/belt rollers change. Few other things such as reference sensor and hall sensor where replaced around the time of motor swap. Amsoil 20w50 has always been used in the motor with OEM oil filters. The transaxle fluid was replaced with Amsoil 75w90 gear oil early on in my ownership. I’ve owned the car for around 4-5 years. I also have several items that I will throw in with the car, such as new 968 caster blocks w/ hardware and a short shift linkage kit, hakkapliitta snow tires on 928 rims, ect. In addition, I have a complete set of Bilstein coilovers (front firehawk, rear escort) that are lightly used and I will throw them in with the sale of the car!
Pros:
17” 986 boxster wheels w/ Michelin pilot super sport tires (225/45/17 front, 245/40/17 rear) which have plenty of life in them. Early on in my ownership, the brakes were professionally rebuilt to brand new by Goldline brakes in Seattle. Its currently running on OEM Sebro rotors and Pagid sport street pads at all four corners, all of which were installed about 1.5 years ago and have at least 90-95% life in them. At this time the fluid was also flushed with ATE super blue. Any parts installed/replaced on this car were done with the OEM unit or better.
Parts installed/replaced:
New OEM fuel pump and all associated fuel pump lines, fuel filter, fuel tank screen, Lindsey racing billet fuel rail, SS braided fuel lines, professionally cleaned injectors, newly rebuilt AFM (vertex auto), newly rebuilt DME (ECU doctors), new OEM starter, hall sensor, reference sensor, new sunroof seal, SS hatch pins, Lindsey racing semi solid trans mount, TPS, engine temp sensor, DME temp sensor, SS brake lines front and rear, new Blaupunkt speakers front and rear, new Blaupunkt stereo, hood shocks, Zeitronix zt-3 wideband sensor + digital gauge, Dansk SS cat-back, Rennbay headlight harness w/ E-code headlights, upgraded all metal heater control valve, plus many other parts over the years.
Cons:
-The front bumper has some clear coat flaking, along with the nose panel, they both could use a repaint.
-The interior carpet and panels are currently stripped (with the exception of the rear trunk carpet piece), as the interior was under renovation with a half dash mod with the factory dash (the dash is still in place).
-wiper motor needs replacement
-hatch shocks need replacement.
Items for sale:

Where is the car located?

Yes, it does have the original factory hoop spoiler. Also, It may not look like it in the photos, but the windows and hatch are tinted the same all around.
