just look at those classic lines..... to anyone contemplating getting an ancient 924 turd to polish, then, throwing away thousands of dollars attempting to sort, drive, maintain and repair it (while half the blind leading the blind cheer you on); consider; not only will it never be a 944..... but, also that appointed day when you depart the fog, and discover you can't find a buyer either - that lies ahead.

this one not only holds a sky's-the-limit endgame in reserve,

but it wonderfully, demonstrates what just a few dollars more gets you.

Yeah like 70k + in a 968?
(while half the blind leading the blind cheer you on);
as opposed to this?
consider; not only will it never be a 944.....
Good
but, also that appointed day when you depart the fog, and discover you can't find a buyer either - that lies ahead.
I could profit selling but no way, you think you could get half your $$ back out of yours? Project your insecurities onto others much?

this one not only holds a sky's-the-limit endgame in reserve,
Because it's easy to mod an NA right?
but it wonderfully, demonstrates what just a few dollars more gets you.
Mmhm, CGT flares, slush power steering, extra weight, much more expensive to maintain less powerful engine, rear heavy Audi trans vs my front weight distributed much lighter and stronger Porsche box, snobbery?
I'll spank that 44 in acceleration, and top speed on stock boost plus braking, low speed cornering, driving feel and feedback for half the price... Easily all OEM, it hasn't a chance with my mods...

I watched all of your 944 videos in a sitting a few days ago. I am a huge fan of the mirror swap you did, and the shifter mod as well. And those white lettered tires look super sharp.

I called on this 944 on CL near me a few days ago, he had it posted at a bargain ($2700-$2900ish) wo/wheels but someone was already on there way to pick it up..

Probably a good thing, I'm not sure I could have resisted it, these are very sexy in red as others have previously stated...

OH, BTW... MT-90 here too in the LSD G31 But my LSD is testing at over DOUBLE the FSM specification break away torque and makes the faintest noise turning at full lock, I may need to try a friction modifier..

Lane, where did you get those seat covers? I have a pair of early sport seats which need re-covering and those look pretty good. How was the install and fitment?

Been following you on IG. It's nice to be able to save your pictures. Your interior looks amazing! I love the door panel mod.

I got the seat covers from lseat.com. This was the first set that they made for the early sport seats...I sent them my old covers to use as templates. This fit is really good and the install was a lot of work, but not particularly hard. The piping on the seats is awful and it is destroyed after months, but they made me another set with what looks like better piping. I'll be installing the new covers later this summer.

Thanks! The door panels were really fun to make and cost me about $60
