Other than saftey stuff (seats, belts, bar) most of the effort has been spent on refreshing the car. It is PCA I legal for class I. I have left the engine alone other than standard maintenance and the just finished replacement of the rod bearings and baffleing the sump. My guess is they should be pretty much the same. I am trying to reduce the lean angle, hard to see in the small avatar, but interesting to note our cars seem to share a similar amount of lean (Road Atlanta turn 5).

Could you list your suspension mods? From your avatar, it looks like your 24's rear suspension settles nicely in the turn. Mine is higher.
When the picture was taken for my avtar, I had a 23mm front bar and a 14mm rear bar. I now have a 26mm front and a 18mm rear. Still have the high rear end! My suspension height is still stock.
Also, you say your 24 is an SE. What is this??

924S SE
I have an original supplemental catalog, PMK 001 188 that covers the 1988 Special Edition Models. They built three models, a 911 Commemorative Edition, a 944 Special Edition Package and a 924S Special Edition. All three models were shipped with a round brass colored commemorative medalion, usually found applied to the dash.
" The Special Edition 924S place a major emphasis on improved performance. The suspension, wheels and tires are upgraded, while a small number of standard convenience features, such s power windows, power mirrors, coin and cassette holders, are omitted to reduce weight. Naturally, this select edition of the 924S is highlighted by a unique exterior/interior treatment. The lustrous black paint is contrasted by gray/burgundy pinstriped seats in flannel/leatherette, and lush burgundy carpeting. A commenorative plaque documents the car's original significance.
The brochure states:
Larger lightweight 16 inch Cast Alloy Wheels and 205/55VR16 rated tires improve handling and traction.
The Sport Suspension Package includes stiffer spring settings, stronger shocks and larger diameter stabilizer bars for quicker, more precise response and improved nandling characteristics.

I also have the dealer order sheets showing the availability of M030 for 1988 models only. The bars listed are 23/mm & 14/mm. Adjustible front spring springs with Koni Sports front and Rear. My car was also optioned with code 220 (LSD). From the literature it appears you could order a 924S with M030 and the other goodies but the least expensive way was to go with the Special Edition.
My car is bacically a stock 924S SE but almost everything in the suspension and drive has been replaced. My car has a factory 30/mm front bar and a 21/mm rear factory bar. In the avatar the car had 16 x 7 & 16 x 8 Flat discs with Toyo RA-1 Dot rubber. The car was corner balanced and adjusted by Martiin at J-3 who built a bunch of 944 race cars in the day. The car is set up as a DE/AX car, not a daily driver.
Attached is a picure of the car taken two years ago at a Florida AX - looks a lot like yours. The pic was taken before the upgrades but the car was set up exclusively for AX at the time. Wouldn't let me attach the photo, will send later.

Hard top with a bullet hole in the left rear corner. Paid $500. I had seen it sitting at an empty house for a couple of years, then one day someone was cleaing up the place and I stopped and bought it.

ODO quit at 127,000 and PO had no idea of actual mileage.
My 8-year old daughter loves doing donuts in it.
I'm considering transplanting an 89 turbo drivetrain and suspension into it that I just picked up. Why? Just to do it.

'87 924S here. Wasn't in that great of shape when i bought it, so I'm slowly bringing it back to life. Needs a bit of body work, which should be fun. millage is unknown. Odometer currently reads 16,7xx and there is a blank odometer rollback sticker on the drivers door, so I'm at a loss as to actual miles. PO said it was 167,xxx. I'm assuming they just didn't realize it was a 5 digit odometer.
