#TBT Ad Shows “Next Evolution” in Porsche Technology
Sometimes we just feel the need to give Porsche a round of applause. Through the years, they have proven to be nothing but outstanding and impressive, and that hasn’t changed to this day. Their style, class, and, let’s admit it, sass, is pretty unbeatable in the sports car market. After all, who else would have this much fun when making their advertisements back in the day?
The advertisement we get to look at today was for the Porsche 968, which ran from 1992 until 1995. In a sense, it replaced the Porsche 944. But in many ways, it was comprised of some of the same components and engineering. But the ride certainly wasn’t the same.
The ad is titled “Porsche 968: The next evolution” for a reason. At the top it reads “starting from ‘a clean sheet of paper’ is fine,” that is — “if you have nothing worth keeping.” Porsche has always built upon previous models to make newer, more impressive, and better rides, and we have absolutely no complaints about that. Neither did owners of the Porsche 968!
