Default What kind of 3-piece wheel is this..? please help!

Hi guys,

Just bought a set of these (really cheap) to refinish and put on my 996 - Carrera.

These are 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.

They look like RH wheels to me, yet, they have an "AMP" stamp in the back. I have tried, but cant locate anything online. My hopes are to rebuild them with larger lips.... They have 36 bolts each and I was thinking - would I be able to use any other 36 bolt lip off any other wheel (i.e. RH wheels)

Please advise!

Thanks!

There were several Porsche wheels manufactured in Japan over the years. Sometimes they were built with Kinesis inner and outer rims - but those wheels used 40 bolts not 36. These were sold as B&W motorsport 3 piece wheels. So how big did you want to make the wheels? I assume you are changing the width of the rear wheels? How do they fit your car as they are? Are they straight and true? The centers look chromed? jdorociak@gmail.com Jim
