Post C2 rims on a 911SC

Can I fit C2 rims under a stock SC/Carrera body??
with the 205's front and the 255's on the rear.

Thanks Much
Mark

Dear Mark,
If you are asking about straight bolt on the answer is no. C2 rims have an offset of 52.3mm (50mm, 52mm or 55mm depending on) and the 911SC has a different offset. You will need spacers, big ones. You must ensure you maintain the same wheel track front and rear or go maybe a little wider. You should not go narrower. Besides it looks weirdlet alone has an effect on handling. What size wheel diameter were you thinking. 16 inch or 17 inch. With the correct spacers fitted I think you are still going to have to roll your fenders.
I do not have the 911SC offsets handy but they are somewhere between 10.6 and 23mm I think. Maybe a 911SC owner can step in here because it is going to be quite a few hours before I can check.
Ciao,
Adrian

Thanks Adrian
these are 17" wheels and according to the owner of them they have 205's on the front and 255's on the rear, this tells me that the rear might be 9" wide, I will fingerprint them this week with a tape measure. But do the C2 & C4 share the same offset? Though I think that 9" on the rear will be too much to get inside my flares.
