Has anyone tried this tyre/tire out on a 964? My local tyre shop recommended it to me today.

Thanks!

tire rack rates them highly but no Porsche owner reviews. Note for a given tire size their tread width is less than comparable tires. I saw them on a 964 @ my mechanics shop. The owner (country & western star) was consigning /selling the car thru a local dealer so I could not find out what he thought. My Continentals are wearing out fast and I am looking for a replacement so I would be interested with any experience/impressions. Note that Bridgestone S-03's are not many $$$$ more.

Question

I am looking for a winter tire for my daily driver... I want a tire that performs in cold weather and limited snow. I'm told that my Michelin Pilot Sports get too hard and lose their grip in winter conditions. Does anyone know if these Firestone's will do the job for the winter?
