Good traction both dry and wet. I have KUMHO estca. very nice great price. Another tire is Bridgestone RE730 if you are a brand name slave.

I'm about to put Kumho's on my '85 Targa. I was originally leaning toward the Bridgestone 730's but the guys at tirerack warned me off. seems the 730's start to howl about halfway through their tread life and they (tirerack) are no longer recommending the tire.

If you can manage the $$$ Bridgestone SO-2 Pole Positions are great.
The lack of "good value" will be overshadowed by great performance!

If you track the car and are looking for a 3-season tire that gives good lap times, you can still find some Michelin MXX3's. They are being discontinued, so there is a downside.
