Default snow tires for 993, 16 vs 18 inch wheels

Posted this on the 993 forum before discovering this section, so reposting:

I use my 1997 993 narrow body coupe as a daily driver in Baltimore. I have a set of 18" wheels and tires for summer driving, and a set of 16" wheels and Blizzaks W60s for winter (rears are 225/50 16R 92R).

I was planning to order new rear Blizzaks, and discovered they were discontinued. Worse, I can't seem to find ANY snow tires for the 16" wheels (full disclosure: I am woefully uninformed about cars and/or tires).

(a) Does anyone have advice about finding 16" snows--I know I'd also have to swap out the fronts if I can't find Blizzaks, right?; OR

(b) Does anyone know if there's an 18" snow tire option that will fit the 993 narrow body?

Thanks for any help you can give.

can you post the tire sizes? (just copy them from off the tire). it's pretty easy to look right on tirerack.com with those sizes. They have pretty much anything that's normally available anywhere if you look on tire rack so it's a good place to start.
