can anyone confirm whether 255/35/18s will fit on the front of a 996 GT3 without rubbing the inside under street use?
ive got BBS E88 wheels from a cup on the car, so thats an 9Jx18 ET 46.5 wheel on the front and run 255/35 equivalent tires when i track but have never tried them under regular driving ie turning properly. im needing front tires tomorrow so cant get up and get the slicks on to test for rubbing by driving around in the parking lot.
was hoping others may be using this, or not and could share their info.
ive been running 315/30/18s on the rear for a while but never changed from the stock 235/40/18 on the front. since i like the track handling setup it would make sense to run the wider front if it works without preventing me actually manouvering around in normal road type circumstances now that its time to get new rubber.
