Default Continental ExtremeContact DWS

I ordered there tires and will get them installed this upcoming week. Tirerack went to the arctic circle with these and the results were surprising (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=124)

If anyone's interested, I can drive them and report back how well they are working on my Boxster S. We're supposed to get some snow this week and weekend.

I have these on my C4, and am looking to get some good use out of them during the winter months. This is largely because the C4 will see a lot of daily use. I've been driving on them for the last month and my biggest impression after swapping out the Michelin Pilots is that I'm driving on marshmallows. But the benefit is I'll get where I'm going, and don't need to worry if I'm out an hour or two from home when the snow starts showing up.

I should really test them out now that we've had 5-6" in my part of KC, but I'm having a hard time getting away from the nog & whiskey!!

Wow, if these are marshmallows, then those Pilots must be awesome. I really like the wet, cold & snow performance of these DWS's so far.

My sentence was misleading -- it was summer tires I pulled off, Michelin Pilot Sports. The snow's stopped this morning, I may go shovel out the drift in front of the garage so I can get her out.

That makes sense.

With you having the C4, I'll bet you're out pulling SUVs at intersections.

I just got a set for my wagon. So far I really like them.
Not bad in the snow, good dry and wet.

I've had them for about 5,000 miles. They are great in cold, snow & wet. Not terribly in the dry, but they are not summer tires either. I will be putting my summer only tires on here when temps are regularly above 55F.
