Default BBS RS-GT Question?

I am cleaning my 18" RS-GTs (diamond black)...and profess to know little about the construction. But I want to disassemble to clean. They current have tires on them. Is this something that is easy to do? Are they two piece or three piece? Can the centers be taken off with the tires on? Can you use an Allen key or is there a special screw head? What is the torque for re-fastening?

thanks for any insight or help!!!

I would highly not recommend that you disassemble your two-piece wheels here unless you have BBS actually do the work.

I know people who casually disassemble wheels, but it'll never be to spec as from the factory.

I totally agree on Ben. The calibration and torque specs needed to make sure they don't wobble is much more precise than most people think.

Leave it to BBS.

Unless the shop you deal with are an authorized dealer. They did my LMs a couple of time.

Being an authorized dealer does *not* make them authorized to take the wheels apart. BBS does not authorize ANY retailer in the US to take apart their wheels. Only the RSII is disassembled here in the states for repair, and that's done by them in GA.

I've heard of a lot of leakage issues from people who thought they were reassembling back to factory specs...

Post some pics of those bad boys - I am an RS-GT man as well.
