Anyone know anything about these wheels? (ebay seller)
I found these wheels on eBay and figured maybe somebody here had them. The seller claims they are 23 and 26 lbs for the front and rear, which is lighter than I expected considering they are replicas and they are 18x8 and 18x10. He has both ET47 and ET65 offset for the rear 18x10. I think I would need the ET65, but have heard of other late offset 944 owners running the wide body offset and rolling the fenders. I'd like to be able to run 285s in the rear, and possibly more if it will fit. If you know anything about these wheels please chime in!

My understanding was that the pre 's' models required less offset than 65. I also looked at these on ebay and thought they looked the goods but I can't go to 10"s on the rear for my club racing requirements. Still I'd be interested in the quality if you wind up buying them.

These are the 2002 Carrera 5-spoke. Wheel Enhancement charges $650/wheels for the real thing. I got the local dealer to get as low as $700. Those are decent prices for wheels that are pretty lightweight, forged and made by BBS. They fit nicely on my 964 Turbo.
What is the eBay guy charging?

I can't find an auction anymore for these, but he had a $950 buy it now price for his replicas. He claimed they were still pretty lightweight, but didn't mention if they were forged or cast. I would imagine they are cast.
