Default 1 psi a day

My 97 c4s is losing 1 psi a day on the drivers side rear tire. Its a stock turbo rim (technology) and the tire appears to be in good shape. Plenty of tread. No visible screws, nails, etc. Possible culprits? Since it's such a low profile tire - I never even knew it was low until one day the car rode kinda harshly. I checked the tire. Down to 10 psi!! Scary.

Put some water and dish soap in a bucket, take the wheel off the car & fill the tire up, soak a rag in the soap water and get the whole tire wet. Look for bubbles. It's possible that it is leaking from around the bead or the valve stem, but that's pretty unusual, but if you don't see any bubbles from the treads check there too.

Or, take the tire/wheel off, fill up your bathtub, with enough water to cover the tire and rim (6-8") and slowly turn it around looking for air bubbles. Some air may be trapped as you turn the wheel around, however, a steady stream is the giveaway.

Yes, checking the tire in the tub can elicit a reaction, however, the upside is that you give the tub a good cleaning when you're done....and if you do it quickly, it's almost in stealth mode

Ahhhh, it's nice to live alone . I've got stacks of wheels, tires and all kinds of parts all over my apartment, although there haven't been wheels in the tub in almost two weeks now!
