Default finding the ideal psi for track driving

Hi!

The car: 01 TT
Tires: 245/45/19 FR, 315/35/19 RR
Michelin PS2
I'm taking the car out to a track event soon, but wanted to find out what the ideal pressure settings are. I get a lot of different responses, and the service manager couldn't give me an answer. the car is on coilovers too.

Thank you!

You probably want them about 38-40 psi hot, so you would have to start at about
8 psi less cold, and then check the pressures after some laps, and adjust.
That's in the correct ballpark anyway.

It's not surprising that your service manager would not help you optimize tire pressures for an activity that Porsche officially does not condone. I'd start out with the stock stagger and work from there. Your car will understeer as this has been designed into most of the cars. Adjust the pressures and your driving style to minimize this.
