Default 4 lug boolts instead of 5 on my wife's A4

I realize I'm on a Porsche Board but I need some help. In switching to winter wheels/tires yesterday evening I broke the pin that you use as a guide in mounting the wheels on the wheel hub on my wife's A4.

Now I have the broken end of the pin where the 5th lug bolt should go. What's the consensus out there, will it be OK to drive the Audi, maybe 100 easy miles, until Friday and I can buy an easyout to remove the broken part of the pin?

Second question, has anyone tried to remove one of these broken pins, I assume it's no big deal to back it out, it only in finger tight? Thanks.

Ever noticed the number of rough looking american barges that lead a city live with only four lug nuts on? I would think very gentle driving in city traffic is no issue.

If the pin is finger tight only, can you not tap it with a hammer and chisel CCW until you can grab it with pliers and remove it?

if it is just the plastic one that comes in the tool kit, try some super-glue or any other quick drying glue or epoxy to glue it back together then just unscrew it.

if that doesn't work then with the other 4 bolt properly torqued, some limited, easy driving should be ok.
