Default 2021 992 Turbo S All Season tires!?

I have searched all over and can't find recommendations. I have a 2021 911 Turbo S and need to switch to All Season tires. I do not want to run a dual set up (summer/winter). I live in East Tennessee where we see all 4 seasons and plentiful rain. I did not buy this car to be a garage ornament during the winter or rainy spring. However, I can't find matching A/S tires that are offered in the OEM sizes. 255-35zr20 front 315-30zr20 back. Has anyone had any success going with different sizes in the front or the back? These summer tires are cutting it in the cold weather!

You should double check your wheels, I pretty sure 2021 cars are 20" on the front and 21" on the rear.

Oh darn, I just noticed those tires are only 20s. Though one could go the 19/20 route for the 992 if they were so inclined.

without the details on their actual rim on the car it is hard to recommend tires. It looks like the carrera and carrera 4 come with 19/20, the 4S 20/21, Targa back to 19/20, Turbo Turbo S are 20/21. I would also assume that you can change the default so could be anything. Maybe they actually do have 20/20 on the car.

My 992 C2S Cab manual is 20/21. I have a set of winters for driving up north to see family and put them on in my garage before I go. I guess in the past I have been unhappy with the lack of all season tire availability for the 911. In reality, I think I'm probably happier switching between winters and summers. Both perform optimally in their temperature range. And it's fun and like going to the gym making the swap myself. I get the desire for all seasons though.

I would agree. If you can afford to and have the space, having a set of summer wheel/tires and then a winter set is ideal. Maybe you could configure the winter set up to use the smaller 19/20 combo to get a bigger selection of tires. It would be interesting to see if you could put a 19" on the rear for 19/19 setup for winter tires, get a little more height in the tire.

Also I would think about what is means for a "winter" tire. My version in Mass is a lot different then someone in FL.

The Pirelli Zero Winter is a real snow tire and would be something I would use, but TN only gets like 4-5 inch of snow a year and the ave winter temp is like the low 25F range.

You could go with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, just change the size a bit
Front = 255/35/R20, Rears = 295/30/R20

And if you rear is actually 21 then 295/35/r21

That’s an interesting idea going 20/20! Here’s what I put on the car to drive from Florida to PA in the winter.

Continental winter tire

PS. These are what I would run all winter if I lived in Tennessee.
