Question Looking for offset spec's.

Looking for a little help from some of you addicts out there.

Where can I find a source for wheel, tire, alignment spec's for an '87 Carrera?

Does anyone know the max wheel width, tire and corresponding offset for this very low std body car equipped with coilovers? As near as I can figure, measuring with a somewhat crude outside caliper, the front wheels are 8's (225/50-16) the rear 9.5's (245/45-16). It's a very tight tire to body fit.

Without removing the tires from the wheels, it's difficult to acquire a precise measurement of the actual wheel width and therefor the offset. I'm trying to collect the data necessary to purchase a couple of more sets of wheels that fit the first time.

Any advise??

Do a web search using "Porsche Wheel Offset" as you key. Somewhere out there is a page that lists all the offsets by model and year. I just can't remember where I found it.

Thanks Craig. You know I finally figured out what would work for me the old fashioned way, taking measurements. With the use of shims I've been able to make various wheel and tire combinations work.
