Default Turbo X50 Wheelset on 996

I am looking at purchasing a set of new factory Porsche Techno Hollowspoke wheels for my 2000 C2 Cab. Specs: front 224/40 ZR 18, 18X8 with 50mm offsets, rear 295/30 ZR 18, 18 X 11 with 63 mm offsets. I currently have 285's on the rear. They are advertised as the largest factory wheel and tire combo you can get for your 996. My concern is the rear setup is just too big. Your help is appreciated.

J- I didn't know that the Techno hollowspoke had a rear with 63mm offset? Is this true? I thought they only came in 45mm?

DVC - PCA reports that the normal turbo wheels have offsets in the range of 45mm. These wheels with the 63mm offset wheels were from the Turbo model with option "XRC". The Porsche website lists the X50 Techno Hollows as an $1800+ option on the 2004 Turbo. I believe this package would include spacers for the 2004 Turbo. I have been told that without these spacers you can fit this wheel package on a narrow body 996.

It seems that the 11" at ET63 would be a nice fit.

These wheels and tires will fit just fine on the 996. The rear wheel/tire combo is the same exact size as the GT3's.

Exactly. Porsche install the 11" Sport Techno wheel on the Turbo and Carrera 4S using 17 mm spacers. They'll be just fine on the narrow body 996 without those spacers.
