No! Really?

A midgit with your arms and legs cut off?

Don't know if the old beastie will make it that far. Need to replace a rear bearing set.

Maybe we should have the belt party at Ft. Irwin! We could run out to the range and fire off a few stingers and some anti armour rounds! Any one have the keys to an Apache helo? I can fly it. Free rides!

So you are saying you can tow two M1s, but you can't borrow one car!? Too funny, Carl!

don't think that it would be wise to take this on thev street as it's top speed is 29 mph. plust it'll be hard to fit into your garage.

Cuuute, real cute. Okay, I figured out where Barstow was Saturday, when I wound up on the 15, to rescue a Maine Coon cat...it was further North than the 10 Freeway. So, how far are you from the 91 and 15 junction?

Well....

I'm getting slammed with work and school stuff right now, so I will not be able to make it.

I had been meaning to change my oil pressure sender and do the cam tower gasket, and save the belt change for when I had ordered a new water pump. I was also going to send out 4 spare fuel injectors I had for rebuilding, so I could change them while I was doing the cam tower gasket.

Perhaps we can set up another GTG in mid December, life might calm down for me by then.

Good luck with the event!

Sorry, Carl, don't know of a smog place that's worth going too. Though, if I'm not mistaken, the test is less severe where you live than LA area!

Oh joy, a new clutch! I really appreciate it, Carl. Maybe we can plan for something in December...I'll have too much spare time on my hands then.

well... clutch is not new it's used but still serviceable. it'll hold ya till you get a new one or upgrade.
as far as dec is concerned, i'll be shipping the car on the 14th of nov.
that's why i wanted to get the belts done before i go, and a few stuff like lego was talking 'bout, "comp tests".
my luck i get rear ended, but i'm not bitter( yes i am),
i'm picking up the car on thurs, 30 then i'll be heading down to anaheim to visit my mom and get the car smog and get the title so i can ship it.
so far as of now it's a no go for me this weekend as i am w/o a car and preping for the movers to pick up my stuff to ship.
hopefully someone might be nice enough to hook me up with a belt check when i come by to drop off the clutch
