trade would be just fine.

That is what this whole get together is about. Learning from others.

As I said if you are down the day before call me and we can do more that what the time may be available on Sunday.

Can't really adjust the air/fuel ratio. Don't have the equipment. But we can discuss what changes this and why. Then you can decide if you want to tweak it.

I do have a compression gauge. Not set up for a bleed down test though.

How is your shift lever pin?

the pin i think is ok but where it connects to i think the hole is a tad bit big as i have a lot of play.
also when i first start the car in the morning, i hear a loud rattle but i let it idle for 3 min. then it stops.
sound like something tapping on the cam and valve cover area.
after driving a tad bit hard (punching it in 1st upto about 4.5 rpm same in sec. and 3rd) i would then coast as the speed limit is only 35mph on post, the car would then start to idle erratic at stop signs and start to smoke.
once i get home i turn it off let sit for bout 10-15 min start it back up then it's normanl again.
will there be enough time that day to do brake pads?
do you happen to have any blue brake fluid, i tried kragen, autozone and pep boys and no one has 'em

Try Mesa Performance in Costa Mesa. If they don't have it they can get it in a day. Use your credit card and PM me to pick it up. I'll bring it to the get together. (949) 642-8824

I'll bring a couple of the bolt and jam nut pin replacements. Think I have some thin wall tubing to make bushings from also.

Your problems sound like the turbo.

How much is your time worth per hour? $20? $40?

Will still have to check the wear of the pin and the end of the linkage.
