I think the last Rumble we had was back in 2005. Been far too long since we all got together.

I'm just in the beginning planning stages. Right now, I'm shooting for April 25, 2009, locus in Cambria, with similar format, that is, BBQ gathering.

Joe, this sounds like a great idea. We should do a nor cal v. so cal friendly track battle. Rent out Button willow for a weekend and see what each part is really made of. =)

Working on it! But what do you consider a "deal?" How much would you like to pay, I guess is what I'm asking. I can get a 20% discount on a $350 room, or 5-10% on a $100 room. What's the target room rate we'd like to get. Last time we had this, I paid very dearly for a VERY nice place. It was expensive, but worth it.

Do we want a Holiday Inn Express, a Best Western, or something more upscale?

My sincere apologies, but family issues have prevented me from doing anything on this, and I do not see any let up to that going forward. I've been back and forth between the SF Bay Area and LA area almost weekly, a day or two at a time, and on the phone too much. If someone else wants to pick up the torch, be my guest.
