Steve: Yep, that's the C4 that was all over me on Pescadero. I got the feeling he was faster than me so I let him lead on Stage Rd., and since my car was bouncing all over the place I couldn't keep up! Can't wait to go on the next drive, I might even plan a little something to go down highway 9 and explore some of the roads in the mountains behind Santa Cruz. I want a "rematch" with Rudy now that I've got some decent wheels/tires/fixed suspension, hahaha!

Great pics Bill. I especially like the front fender shots - nice action!

Wow Bill, once again I owe you a huge THANKS for the great pics! I am glad it was you and not the popo snapping shots of Nichole and I passing those cars on 84!

Also, the shot of the CGT in your side mirror is one of kind...it won't be very often that we see one of those BEHIND a 944!

Thanks again!

Yeah, same here for both comments. I wish I had done a better job with the names myself so I could put all the names next to the faces in that picture.

I just wish I had done more of the lower fender shots. I didn't realize how well they would come out - all I did was hold the camera out the window as we were driving.

Haha, I don't know what I did to **** the car off, but it didn't start on me later in the day. I ended up driving north just to see what was up there (after about 30min I realized how close we were to SF and wished I had gone south to do some roads in the mountains), so I ended up going to the marin headlands and looking at the old defensive batteries and doing photo ops. So after meeting another early 928 there and talking with him for a while (said he was a rennlist member, but I didn't get his profile name, we were talking in the middle of the road), I went to the farthest out point the cars can get to and started taking pics. Basically sitting on top of a cliff. Then after taking some pics the car decides not to start. Luckily after trying a couple of times I figured it was a relay because I could hear the fuel pump running and the engine wasn't cranking, so I switched the relay out with the one from the horn and it worked. And surpringly the horn still works, so whatever. Guess the car was just being an attention ***** or something.

Hey

Damn, missed the run as I seldom look at this forum being over on the GT3 one, so didn't hear about it. I did this run a couple of years ago when I was driving a 993 TT. That's the year Danno had his belly pan taken out by the BIG rock in the road.

However, I saw the cars of those who were having lunch at the HMB Brewing Co as I was lunching at Barbara's Fishtrap across the street. I liked the way traffic stopped to let everyone out of the parking lot.

I'm in, as usual. I'm away this weekend, but will post on the different forums when I get back tomorrow, or can you do that to get it started. Usual meeting place? let's do the HMB Brewing Co again??!!!

HMB Brewing co. sounds great. I've bumped a bunch of RL threads, hopefully folks will get email notifications.

That's OK... I'll be at the 76 station at 9, plan to leave by 9:30. Anyone who wants to show, can show... Should be fun with any size group.
