Yeah so your car would fail the test. Mine has BBi too. So yeah, don't know what the SPL is stock but with the center bypass it's pretty loud.

BTW, the test isn't at idle. The test is with the car holding a certain RPM.

You're right. My mistake. I'm 99% certain my car was 96dB at 2,500 RPM (or thereabouts).

The exhaust is sound-tested at 3000 RPM for cars produced before 1972 and at 3/4 maximum RPM for cars after that.
