1987 944 Turbo, appx. 112 kmi. The good: nicely equipped, clean, not trashed. Guards Red, full leather package (black). Power sunroof, driver seat (original), and windows. Driver and passenger airbags. M030 suspension upgrade, 928 S4 brake caliper and rotor upgrade (some call these "Big Blacks"- amazing feel and braking power). LSD transaxle from S2 for quicker spool up. Widefire headgasket. Autothority chipset. Borla cat-back exhaust- nice deep tone, and not overly loud. Aftermarket stereo upgrade. I have a pair of cloth Recaros (manual), but only installed the driver seat. I’ll complete the passenger seat install or restore original leather for the buyer. 16” BBS RS rims shown in the pics. 17” Cup 3 wheels also available. No cracks in dash. Full set of factory Porsche 944 manuals.
The bad: The usual rock chips and a few door dings. The paint looks good for it’s age- the paint and dash are indicative that this car has spent much of its life in a garage. The previous owner had a slight parking lot incident resulting in passenger door and rear quarter repaint, more than 15 years ago. If you look carefully, you’ll notice less orange peel in the paint in that area than the rest of the car, but that’s about it. AC needs recharge. I can’t remember the last time I used it, but I tried it today and AC is not cold. Oil leak on engine. Oil level sensor presently inop, but dipstick works just fine. Tires on the BBS rims are old and noisy. Front seat leather is intact, but is pretty stiff.
I adore this car and selling it will break my heart, but sciatica now requires an automatic transmission, so I need to find another enthusiast who will enjoy this car for the amazing piece that Porsche put together 30 years ago. I’m the 3rd or 4th owner and have had the car for about 15 years. I expect the 1st to see will buy. I’ll get some better pictures up in the next week.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree that I've priced it aggressively, but the oil leak does pull the value down a bit. Basically, I want the buyer to drive away feeling good about the car and the purchase, rather than beat them out of the top dollar.
while cleaning up the car today I noticed a defect that I had forgotten. Apparently the repair the PO had done to the RHS wrapped slightly into the door opening and there is a crack at what I assume is the edge of the repair. It's not loose, and now that I recall it, it's been there pretty much since I bought the car.

I've always like the 951 in white. If I'd found a nice one way back when, I would have bought it. Your car looks very nice.
The full leather is really quite nice. I love the feel of the door handles and the look of it. My fully loaded e46 330i is nowhere near as nice as this car.
I had originally called these Big Reds, but those are even larger. Some call these Big Blacks. No matter the label, the calipers are 928 S4 and the rotors are 944 Turbos S (or 89 Turbo).
Someone had suggested a picture, so while I was swapping wheels, I grabbed some pics and changed the brake and clutch fluid. The pads have some life left in them, though I didn't bother to measure.
Is the car up to date on current maintenance; timing and tensioner belts, water pump, plugs, filters and fluids, etc other than your mention of just changing the brake fluid?

I would have to say many of these items are due. The belts only have ~10 k mi, but 16 years on them, so those are due. The fuel filter and transaxle fluid were done at 91 k mi. I've done the plugs and long-life coolant a couple of times in the last 15 years. The plugs were just done, but the coolant is due. Oil and filter have been routinely done, and were just done, but that's in the noise for Porsche maintenance. I've changed the thermostat, but other than that, I've not touched the water pump. I don't find any documentation from the PO that the water pump was changed, even though he spent $2500 on the belt change and a bunch of the coolant system at 101 k mi. That would have been a likely time to do the pump, but I don't see it on the receipt.
I've had the car for 15 years, and <10 k mi. Other than the light maintenance already mentioned, I've done relatively little to the car. In the last few months it's gotten new hood and hatch struts, new battery, O2 sensor, plug wires, rotor, and catalytic convertor, cleaned and flowed the fuel injectors, replaced the short fuel line from damper to fuel rail and the return line from the regulator (don't smell fuel anymore in the garage). Less recent were the thermostat and turbo water pump replacement. And I think there was a BOV and a starter in there too.
I wish that I could say that it needs nothing, but then it wouldn't be a $9k car.
