Business/home refinance necessitates sale, the car must go and will be sold to Carmax if not to an individual in the coming days.
This is a great opportunity to get a near new, one owner, no stories Macan at a great price.
There is a lien and I would require any potential buyer to be able to close quickly.

It's getting to crunch time, great time for anyone interested to bring an offer.
Note to anyone interested, a local dealer will be handling the sale so there will be no hassle or issues with the titling, registration or payment of my lien.
Thanks.

I assume the dealer gets paid for making the titling and registration convenient.
also - how long until a potential buyer receives the title ?
the dealer cannot facilitate a cash against car and title transaction I assume so adding another middleman will not make this any faster will it ?

In Illinois, for example, buying from a dealer results in a ~10% tax. Buying from an individual does not.
Just something to keep in mind. Of course, depending on state, YMMV.

But doesn't the individual have to pay tax when they register, whether they buy pp or dealer? I am talking about states that have sales tax.
