Possibly...at this point, would like to sell everything as is. Will see if/when it sells what the new owner would like to do with the seat bracket.

Forgot to mention in the ad that original suspension parts are also included.

My question is how much improvement did you notice with the PS 9's as I am thinking about putting them on my 2012 Spyder

Handling should be better as you can corner balance and lowered you can get a more aggressive alignment but what about the ride quality ... say from you wife's mouth . If I go that route I will also change out the upper strut bushings to mono ***** great looking car

I feel like the car is more planted and has more responsive steering feel. Had to add 5mm spacers after lowering/alignment/etc...the overall combo is nice and not too harsh in my opinion. Overall feel for ride quality is about halfway between stock Spyder and stock 996GT3, if that makes sense?

My wife doesn't mind the change in ride quality, but she doesn't like the sport bucket seats to begin with and rarely goes with me anywhere in that car.

Very nice car, and given where gen 1 Spyder prices are headed, that's a very fair asking price. Should sell quickly.. GLWS

For now they seem to be holding steady in the high 50's to low 60's for LWB and MT. Pdk LWB Spyders are slightly less but not by much. The sofa seat Spyders are in the high 40's to low 50's.

Of course all of this depends on the cars condition and history. From what I have been seeing it sounds like there are several on the market that have had accidents and or are beat up so prices for these Spyders should be lower so you can't really make assumptions when one sells at a much lower price.

I think they will eventually start increasing, especially with the fact the prices have held steady even after the release of the new Spyder.

Good luck with the sale Dave, sorry to see you leave the Spyder fold. Curious to hear what's next....

Thanks Afshin. Agree that prices should increase some in the future, which is among the reasons I'm kicking myself already for selling. These are really great cars that offer an unbeatable combination of visceral driving experience for a relatively low (for Porsche) price point.

Not sure what's in store next; I have two teenage sons who are both driving, so we don't have enough parking/garage space. Will try going sports-car-less for a while and see how long I can stand it.

There is no doubt these cars are very special, and compared to the other "specials" out there, they are incredible value. I guess VIN is King, and with such low production, along with the incredible story this car tells, there is bound to be appreciation before too long. Look what happened to RS America's...
