I have owned the car for 5 years. 3rd owner, bought the car with just over 28,000 miles. She currently has 43,250 miles. Car is in great shape, every thing works on the car and has been meticulously maintained during my ownership.
Factory option include:
Auto a/c
Thick steering wheel
Cruise control
Yellow seatbelts
I used the car primarily for weekend driving and DEing. About 4 years ago (car had 34,800 miles) I decided I wanted to get back into DEing so I had a Porsche specialty shop (NOLASPORT in NO) completely go through the car. I wanted to make sure the car would be 100% reliable and safe if I was going to be on the track with the car.
Engine/ Tranny were pulled.
All the Coolant pipes were welded and installed back on the car.
All coolant hose in the engine bay were replaced with new
New coolant resovoir / new coolant regulator all supporting hoses
New water pump
LSD was pulled from tranny and rebuilt by Gaurd
New semi-solid engine/tranny mounts
New Cup car shifter cable (more direct shifting, in combination with the new mounts made huge improvement in shifting feel and shifting under lateral load)
New 997 Shifter (looks stock but is a bit stronger than the 996 part and has slightly shorter throws)
New RS clutch/ pressure plate/ Bearings/ LWFW
New lightweight crank pulley
New RMS
New plugs/ new plug wires/ all new coils as well.
Basically we replaced anything and everything that could be deemed an issue in the near/distant future while the engine was out.
Any and all hoses, belts, gaskets, seals, o-rings. Have 2 whole pages of parts on the receipt.
Since than I have also added a few tasteful mods to the car to add to its track ability.
4 degree spacer on the rear wing
Cup car front splitter
Revalved stock suspension by Hairy Dog Garage to match the 600f/800r Spring package. This is a great aggressive street, track set up.
Corner balanced the car
SS brake lines
New F/R Brembo Type 3 full floating rotors. tHe rear rotors are slightly larger than stock. This helps with the too forward brake bias the car has stock. This with the new LSD REALLY improved late and hard braking. Car much more stable under braking.
Tires are Yokohama AD-08r's at about 95%
The car is one fast 6GT3. My best times at my local tracks:
MSRH CW 1:41.89
COTA 2:25:75
These cars are a rare breed. I would drive the car to the track, adjust tire pressures and keep up with trailered fully prepped cars all weekend. Than adjust the tire pressures back to street level. Drive home in air conditioned comfort getting 25mpg. Just an amazing car that offers a visceral driving experience that I don't think will ever reproduced.
If interested, I have other mods I took off of the car that I wil, put up for sale soon, just inquire if interested.
Thanks for looking. pm if interested.

Selling those separate, the stock sport seats are back in the car.
My Carrera GT seats are replicas though, not originals. They were the CF version sold by Maxspeed in Canada I believe. I have compared my seats with the real seats and they are identical but don't have the Porsche part # and are ALOT cheaper in price. Have gotten a lot of compliments on them.

Great car and seller. Rovman is meticulous about his cars, everything is done right.
To add to resume, 1:52 ish at TWS, 1:42 ish at MSRH. I think. Lol
All these times on AD08 or R888 tires. Anybody familiar with these tracks, these are very fast times.
A buyer can't go wrong with this car.

Thanks HF1 , appreciate it! So far there has been pretty good interest.
Alot of questions on why spend the $15k plus on the car if it was in good shape. My answer is, I wanted to make sure the car was going to be in the utmost BEST shape as I was going to start DE'ing the car. This is the reason why I don't mind buying a car that has been tracked from the correct owner. Chances are the car will have been scrutinized and cared for above and beyond what most street only cars have been maintained to. In the case of my car, that was my thinking, especially if it was going to my BUTT in the seat excersizing the car as it should be on the street and track.... IMO you can never be too safe with car maintenance.

Agree..... and those are the same people who will have to spend that money anyway if they decide to track to the car later on in life when Cars and Coffee gets boring.

Thanks 964q.
Concerning the re-valve. IMO it helped the ride quality on my car in certain situations.
In stock form, my cars suspension would do a decent job handling small surface imperfections and undulations BUT when you would hit bigger imperfections in the road I found the stock suspension very Crashy and violent, which would unsettle the car a good bit, especially when those road conditions presented themselves in the corners.
Since the re-valve I find that you feel the smaller surface imperfections and undulations a little bit more BUT when you hit bigger surface imperfections the suspension reacts much better and is ALOT more composed. This may have been a component of possibly my stock shocks were pretty worn, or I wonder if the stock spring rates were not matched good enough to the stock shock valving from the factory. And that now with the shock valving carefully matched to the new spring rates (albeit stiffer). The shocks/ spring package as a whole work much better than the stock spring/shock set up......
It was def. an improvement on the track. 2/3 second difference in times on the track on like track with like conditions.
