I'm selling my Pumpkin to make room for a new car that I collect in Leipzig in June, I need the room in the garage!
I am the original owner and yes the car has been tracked, but most of the mileage is highway between Montreal and Mosport.
This is one of the rare North American RS's that came with the factory installed rollcage plates.
As you can see there is a genuine factory FIA rear cage installed. The GT3 Euro seats were bought brand new from my local dealer as well as the cage and belts at the same time as I bought the car in April 2007.
Included are the original seats that were used for about 300 miles as well as the optional thicker leather covered steering wheel. (I swapped it out for the RS wheel after about 1500 miles.)
This car has been maintained to the "N"th degree with oil changes at every 4K miles. There are only a few type 1 & 2 over revs ( normal for any RS that's been driven as it was supposed to be) and no type 3/4/5 or 6's
There is a Cup front spoiler and 997-2 rear brake ducts, along with a GT2 rear anti-roll bar and TRG rear toe links.
I also have a perfect set of Fikse track wheels that go with the car.
This car has only seen track use 2-3 times over the last 2 years as I have been using my 996 GT3. The RS is a more comfortable street car that the 996GT3 and I've used it as my summer daily driver.
The Clubsport harness's are now out of date.
This car was rarely washed without being detailed and waxed afterwards and is in superb condition inside and out.
There is dealer installed 3M film on the lower part of the front lid, forward part of the front fenders and the entire lower 6" of the sides and of course the leading edge of the rear fenders as well as mirrors and all front lights.
Just before storage I installed new steel discs all around and there are Pagid RS29's for pads.
There is also a new Braille lightweight battery installed. (15lbs)
There are new front bumper grilles to be installed when the car comes out of storage.
There is NO SAT/NAV.
Apart from the alignment everything else on the car is stock except for the previously mentioned items.
The RMS and front seal were both replaced under warranty back in 2007 and have been dry ever since.
I replaced the clutch 4 years ago (12K miles) with the 4.0 liter unit.

This car was not a garage queen.
This car has never been hit or damaged in anyway.

For those who don't know me I am a 33 year PCA member, Rennsport Region Past President, a professional Porsche technician and ASE Master Tech.

I hate to see it go but my marriage won't survive 4 Porsches.

Oh wow, so GT cars don't sell destruct after 30k or 50k miles, huh? Props on having enjoyed using the car for so many fun miles.
