Sorry guys not my build, bought her as a CPO car as is from Walters Porsche. Agree on the PCCB's and I have mixed feelings about the full leather on the newer cars. My older 993 C2S with full leather is a different story...

On the right side top of the build sheet it shows option "98" for "Exterior Paint to Sample, Non Metallic". Mexico Blue is non metallic right? ... then it shows...
on the left side of the build sheet, it is tough to see whether it is a 2 digit, or 3 digit code that ends in "89" called "Exterior Paint to Sample Code" - Could this be the Calipers?
I'm not familiar with option codes for these newer 991's,... but thinking that maybe along with the yellow gauges, yellow seat belts, yellow centering stripe,.... that maybe the Calipers were yellow from the factory.
Love this car. GLWS.

Besides, seller admits calipers were painted 'yellow'
& are not PCCB!
Like the PTS 'Mexico Blue'!

Not usually. Porsche AG has been kind of strict about
this non-deviation policy for many years now! They
allowed 996TT owners way-back-when to do it (e.g.
2004 TT with non-PCCB brakes) & it caused so much
grief the practice was discontinued!
And when it has allowed exceptions (e.g. 918 Spyder),
it limited the optional color to a 'Silver' for the PCCB
calipers. We have seen one report of PCCB calipers
painted 'Silver' by factory in a '16 gt3 RS in Europe.
But under no circumstances in modern times would
PAG paint non-PCCB brake calipers in the color of PCCB
at the factory! That would be a conspiracy to commit
fraud, as PAG has worked very hard to established a
connection between the color 'Yellow' & their PCCBs!
There is both a size, color & spec ID # differences
in PCCB vs non-ceramic S brakes. There is no way
anyone would not know the difference from even a
casual look, Mrrdstr! You may want to find out
definitively & clarify this in your comments ASAP.
But that is just a friendly suggestion that I believe
would be in your best interest. My dos centavos.

PS PCCB is a very expensive & prominent option.
It would not be expected to be 'casually' missing
from a MSRP.

Please understand, I definitely know the difference between PCCB's and real carbon brakes/caliper size etc. I just have no clue if the yellow is factory or a after thought from the original owner. Either way they look stunning and complement the yellow accents well. I had 3 musts Mexico blue, manual and ducktail ( trifecta ) .
