Presenting a 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo (also known as the 996 Turbo, 996T, or 996TT). I have owned it for about a year. It has 420-horse power, back seats for babies, and all wheel drive (awd) for bad weather. Or it could just be your fun weekend ride. Photos can be viewed in my Craigslist ad (too big to post on rennlist!) https://lansing.craigslist.org/cto/6251348875.html
Condition:
The car is unmodified. The oil was changed regularly (verifiable by Carfax). It has a one-year-old clutch (installed by Porsche of Tysons Corner in the Washington DC area), and 2 of its three radiators are new as well (it’s good to replace them on higher miles cars). Carpets are in good shape. Seats are in good shape. The seat, window, and mirror motors are in good shape. The engine is in good shape. The paint is in relatively good shape for a car with 115,000 miles on it. The suspension appears to be factory original; meaning it has 115,000 miles on it and could use some freshening. It has a brand new set of Bridgestone Potenza tires on the rear. The wheels show some wear. Brake pads have plenty of life left.
History:
It was one owner until about a year and a half ago (verifiable by Carfax). It was maintained at the same dealership nearly its entire life at Porsche of Tysons Corner in the Washington DC area (verifiable by Carfax).
Price:
The price is $32,000 firm. If you want a showpiece you’ll pay upwards of $45K. This is a solid driver and a heck of a lot of fun. I will take people on test drives, but will only allow a buyer to drive if s/he is serious, probably after the buyer has a pre-purchase inspection performed.

You should probably disclose the other issues with the vehicle. There were a plethora of other issues - paint flaws, suspension, etc. (FYI had test driven this exact vehicle before and about to purchase at 26k, then coolant lines blew)
Were they all fixed addressed? The big one was the clutch which I see was replaced.

Wow, you clearly did not read the post. I noted problems with the paint and suspension, and strongly advocated anyone interested in the car to get a pre purchase inspection. Thanks for stopping in . To anyone else interested in the car, nothing in my advertisement is misleading or false.
Please feel free to contact me.
As for "dcbrah" sounds like he shouldn't be in the market for an aging German super car in that price bracket if he wanted museum piece (also noted in my original advertisement).
Cheers,

Quad,
I have no idea if what brah said was accurate.
I don't know if my cooling pipes were welded or pinned. That said, I have not had any cooling hoses blow off in my time with the car. This is what I know about the cooling system: while I don't abuse the car, I have taken it to a track and it stays fairly consistent in humid 90+ degree temps with the air conditioner going (just above 180 in extremes like that) - whether being flogged or idling. I have replaced the corner radiators, center rad looked fine (noted in my advertisement).
Anyone interested in any Porsche, or any other car, should not to take the owner's word for the vehicle's health but should have a pre purchase inspection done. I am honest, but I am not a professional mechanic.
Cheers,
Nick
