Hi. Sorry for the delay. I don't log in every day.
When I bought it I was told I was #3 or 4.
Valves adjusted, short throw shifter and linkage installed, AC converted to 134a and new fan motor and dryer. There are some other odds and ends in the last year. new fuel pump, regulator and regulator relay not because they were bad, but as a preventative measure. Much of the smaller stuff like that has been replaced just because of age and to prevent failure.

With absolutely zero offense to the OP, I think the ad was misleading and confusing. Packaging is everything. A very well constructed and hyper-detailed description appeals to those with serious interest.
Your BAT suggestion is good, but it would require the normal level of detail and dozens of photos that usually accompany a BAT ad. I also think the market has softened a bit in the past few months.

Absent some weird backwards psychology, I don't think anyone's ever not sold something by pricing it lower than market.

I bought my '84 last month after about a year of research. Was initially trending toward an SC, but decided to hold out for the improved fuel management and engine reliability of the 3.2. I definitely spent $6-7k more, but it's worth it IMO. I think the car will appreciate 5-10% a year; more with high-quality restoration.
