I've seen that blue protective stuff left on cars by some. My dad even left the sony sticker on his tv screen back in the day. Once time and sun set in, it becomes nearly impossible to get off.
As for the car, I not a red person at all but that car would change me.

Hey guys, I have revived this thread and lowered the pricing drastically as we are looking to move this car quickly.
Now asking $269,997 but open to reasonable offers..

This car is simply perfect and in collector/showroom condition! I have drooled over it too many times while visiting PNH. Unfortunately my offer is unreasonable, borderline offensive. Good thing Rodger has a good sense of humor. This is an incredible addition for someone with the coin. GLWS!

Hi John, I have 2 questions since this is a very significant price drop. Begs the question about Aqua .2 RS.
1)Why 345K asking price? Was that based on the original MSRP x2 + fees?
2)How was the 75K reduction calculated? 12.5K off for each month that lapses?

That being said, if I wasn’t already long 2-997rs, I’d have this exact car in my garage tomorrow. I LOVE it in red. I came really close to trading one of my existing for this. I think it’s best deal on a really rare, immaculate condition 997 3rs on the market currently. I’m economically stupid for not trading one of mine but I’m irrationally attached to my green one.
Someone will end up with a very unique and amazing condition car w/out paying thru the nose for it. Once this trades, if someone wants to buy a red 3.8rs, good luck finding it.

Market adjustment finally happening and buyers with money to burn wising up...
This tells me all you need to know about the .2 RS market right now. This kind of price drop to me simply shows how much dealers were/are willing to ask for unicorns and semi unicorns.
The red car is truly a unicorn but 345K was 4.0 prices 24 months ago. The Aqua car is a semi-unicorn but is not IMO worth 60K more than a nice driver w/10-15K miles of the same year.
Patience!
