Since you haven't sold the 918 yet, I still think you need to bring it to the Texas Mile in Victoria this weekend and blow the cobwebs off that car. If you trailer it down here, you will only add 1.5 miles to the odo. Whats the diff between 488 and 489.5
Although all the drive tickets are sold out, I can talk to the event owners - I am sure you are aware they are Pcar owners, and Jay's 996 Turbo did 209mph last fall - into allowing a special run for the 918. You have a mile straight away to get the car to it's max speed and then you have a 1/2 mile more to recover from the g-shock and slow the car down! What could go wrong

Yes hope to see you at the Texas Mile. Weather on Friday has a chance of rain through noon, but the weather on Saturday and Sunday looks very good. I'll be working the "Explore Victoria" information booth on Friday and Saturday, so stop by if you make it down.
