Nice looking car, but I hope the owner gets booted from the VIP program.

if the new gt3 has stick, and if it's the same spec as the 911r, why is the 911r going for more than double msrp ? worth every penny I'm sure but just wondering ... is it the gt3 wing that cheapens it? kind of like designer jeans with factory holes cost more than jeans without factory holes ?

Don't understand why it bothers you? BTW there are alot of things in the world to be bothered by...this aint one of them.
I was offered 918 and vip program but passed...big mistake but hindsight is always 20/20.

I hear you - and perhaps this is not the place to discuss this as I want to be respectful of this gent's sale effort... is this something Porsche has done before, i.e. introduce a spec later which then renders a previous collectible model less "unique"?
Unless I'm wrong, I thought that part of the R aura was the GT3 spec but in a very desirable stick config, and without a wing... as far as I understand, they don't just share some parts but the whole bill of materials, setup, and driving experience...
while few other stamped plaque models come to mind they all seem (to me at least) unique and, as far as I know, were not superseded by exact specs under different designator... like the CGT (unique) GT2&RS (unique) etc... curious ...
