Beautiful.

Curious why you are selling after a 2 year frame off restoration.

If it's the auction in Scottsdale, I'll see that car in person. Looks very nice.

I posted that late and left out that I've owned the car for about 15 months post restoration. I've put a few hundred miles on it, tweaked and caressed it. This was actually a restoration that brought a couple guys together and that was worth it as much as the car.

The other side of that tale is that I'm simplifying my life of various 'things'. If I don't use it, or if my wife and I can't fully appreciate it, we're culling. The Jag is just too beautiful not to be enjoyed by someone else.

Yessir, it'll be auctioned on Thursday of the RM Sotheby's sale. Please, feel free to wildly overbid!

I enjoyed following the course of your restoration of the E-Type over at JaguarForums.com. The result of all that work is simply stunning! May you have two rabid bidders slugging it out at the end of your auction.

And you were hugely helpful during that restoration! Not to mention your encouragement of having 'been there'. Thanks!

They pretty much nailed the look. It's hard to be mad at this car, ever.

Just kidding of course, it's simply beautiful. Good luck at the auction and let us know how it went.
