My wife insisted on Agate Grey. At first I thought it was too plain even for a Macan but seeing this color has me do a 180. I would order a new Porsche in this color now! Beautiful rich deep color.

I love this spec, someone grab it.

Would you happen to have a picture of the emission sticker on had, would you?

I was researching the cost to transport, taxes, and such and ran into this article from the CA DMV (https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/de...o/htvr9#usetax).

Keep in mind, this is a guy that never bought a car "over the Internet" so is starting at ground zero.

This thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-...ternative.html) makes it sound like it's a real pain in the *** to register a car from out of state if you can't easily prove the car is CA good to go.

(Don't know why I can't edit the above, sorry for the double post.)

Hi David- Sorry, but I don't have a picture of the emissions sticker. I did check the paperwork, door jamb, hood and trunk. From what I read, all new P cars are 50 state compliant, but the sticker itself is under the engine cover.

Apparently it's UNDER the engine cover based on my research so far ... and thus not easy to get to at all. Yikes.

The car is CA compliant. You need to go to the DMV with the car and they do a VIN verification when you register it. I have done it with an out of state purchase. It is not a big deal or difficult to do.

Nice car!

GLWS.

You are correct and the part of the verification process for DMV person is to verify the emission sticker. On a GT4 you have to rip the entire rear apart to remove engine cover and show them the sticker.

Low mileage GT4 with buckets for under 6 digits - shouldn't last long!

To any Californians, who prefer not to pay the dealer to remove the engine cover, brace for a morning dose of techno and watch this:

If it were my GT4... ...while I had my Torx driver out, I'd also adjust the angle of the rear wing to max downforce and remove the slats for the front brake ducts.

Thanks again for all the well wishes and bumps guys. Still have her. Not accepting sticker. Not de-listing until a deposit actually hits my bank account.

Says a lot about the "hot" GT4 market that this great looking GT4 is sitting at $98K with no sale so far.

There are plenty GT4's in the Rennlist marketplace priced $10K-$20K over sticker; if this great GT4 isn't moving at $98K, then the others priced at $110K-$120K are in for a rude surprise.

Good luck with the sale; I think your car looks terrific and is priced very well. I'm very surprised it hasn't sold yet

GLWS! You have my twin. I wasn't sure I'd love Agate (but it was the only color that "spoke to me" since PTS was not gonna happen).

I love Agate and it receive tons of compliments.

Maybe it's the color? White and Sapphire Blue are the most popular I believe.

Great deal though!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Quick bump and note that I'll be off the grid until Friday. I'll respond to any PMs upon my return (sailing).

To anyone planning to finance, please check out Penfed.org
They offer 1.99%, which is much better than Porsche Financial's top-tier offerings.

Cheers, Chip
