Clean and well-maintained 2009 Porsche Boxster, 6-speed manual, sharp combo with white exterior on black/gray interior, black canvas top and Cayman 18-inch wheel upgrade. 43K miles, originally a California car, only 3 years in Chicago with garaged winters. 40K mile service recently completed (with records). Currently running Continental all-seasons ~50% life remaining, comes with extra set of Bridgestone Potenza summers with ~50% remaining. Clutch replaced recently by Midwest Performance Cars, quality shop in Chicago with full records - started to slip at 42K and wanted it fresh for sale, did it right with the flywheel and full 40K service. Has no front plate despite being in Illinois, had a front plate originally as a California car, repaint on the nose was done professionally by ABRA with records. No issues, very clean. Really want this car to sell to someone who will take good care of it.

Highlights:
-Beautiful car, clean, adult driven and maintained
-Comes with records, clean title in-hand
-All factory
-True manual 6-speed (no PDK)
-18-inch Cayman wheel upgrade
-Bluetooth hands-free, with iPOD plug

Extras:
-Porsche heavy duty rubber floor mats, with extra set of embroidered never-used Porsche carpet mats
-Blemishless clear wind deflector between seat headrests (a factory extra)

About the 2009 987 Boxster:
-First year with Bluetooth and iPod plug
-First year with restyled Cayman front end
-First year with redesigned camshaft (read about the pre-2009 issues on Rennlist)
-Rear window in convertible top is GLASS, not plastic

Absolutely love this car, bought it down south 3 years ago with 30K miles, drove it back north and drove it weekends. Went all the way from Chicago to South Carolina for it as it was the only one I could find with this color combo, 30-40K miles, and true 6-speed manual without the PDK. Recently married and the car unfortunately doesn't fit future plans (may move overseas). Not motivated but accepting reasonable offers. Send me a message for more pictures, full PDF of records or to discuss details.

For the transaction, I planned to use the eBay recommended escrow.com service, I will pay the $250 fee (protects buyer and seller). Open to other reasonable and safe options.

Also, appreciate any feedback on the listing from the experts.

See it also on the below sites. (eBay includes a pretty comprehensive and helpful vehicle history):
-eBay
-Cars.com
-AutoTrader
-DuPont Registry
-Porsche Club of America
-Craigslist

The "redesigned camshaft" you mention for 2009 model year changes... perhaps you mean to refer to the fact the 2009 models no longer have an ims or intermediate shaft bearing as part of the engine design. This year also was the 1st for direct fuel injection.

True a 2009 has a glass rear window. Not new for 2009 however. 2002 was 1st.

With clutch slip at that early mileage... it's reasonable to think the car must have grown up in a hilly area or someone was not the best at driving a manual. End result being a nice bonus for the buyer/next owner with a fresh clutch/flywheel in there.
