Well, I will say that it's the only sports car I've owned that seems to attract the attention of women. My Porsches have always gottn a lot of complements...from dudes. The Aston has actually been complemented several times by women. I know I didn't get any better looking, so it must be the car.
Depending on your relationship status, this may or may not be a selling feature!

Not nearly as cool as your car.

Asking $49.6K. Warranty until you get to the curb. I have heard that Aston Martin will sell you a bumper to bumper warranty after doing an inspection on your car if it is less than 10 years old. 36,000 miles of coverage is supposed to be around $4K.

Aston
I just watched one of these cross the auction block at Mecum in Florida this January.
A 2003 Vanquish. The car was silver with the saddle tan interior and was gorgeous. Let than 23k on the odometer with the F1 transmission. Sold for 38K.

If one of those really went across the auction block at $38k you should have bought it. Nice ones can fetch 55k pretty easily.

Agree. That's a great deal on a Vanquish. But owning that out of warranty is a whole different level. The engine in the Vantage is the same modular V8 from Ford that is in the Jaguar, Range Rover and a gazillion other cars. The electronics and most of the switchgear are from Volvo. All I've had to do in 11 months is change the oil and the brake pads.

COnfirmed with the local Aston Martin dealer. Unlimited mileage warranty available. 12 months to 36 months available for this car.

To any interested parties, these are GREAT cars. And the seller's price is a DEAL.
The Vanquish is not a fair market comp, as others have mentioned. Here's a good one: a 2007 Vantage with higher miles (44k) and the Sportshift auto (which is a crap tranny, 6spd is rare and way better) sold for $44k plus 5% buyer's premium:

So if anyone's on the fence on this one, snap it up and don't lowball the seller!
