For sale is our 5-speed 1989 Baltic Blue / Linen 944S2, affectionately named Vendetta. We purchased the car 6 years ago from a Rennlist member for my oldest daughter, and then passed it down to our youngest daughter, who is leaving for college in the fall, so Vendetta now needs a new home. The car has been great, and with the exception of replacing the A/C compressor, it has only required routine maintenance. The paint is mostly original and is in very good condition for its age. The car has been garage kept by both me and the PO. The only exceptions to the original paint are the driver’s door and the rear bumper; both were parking lot low speed “bumps” that could have been handled by the Dent Doctor, but we wanted to ensure it was fixed properly.

The good:
• Head rebuilt by PO in 08 due to over tightened timing belt
• Clutch, starter, water pump, and ball joints also replaced shortly before I purchased it
• I have all the records back to 2005
• I have the original window sticker & manuals
• A/C converted to 134 with new compressor and it is COLD (like 40 degrees cold)
• Rotors, brake pads, shocks, & tires all replaced by me and are in good shape
• Timing belt replaced less than 10K miles ago
• Dash recovered with Classic 9 kit and has NO CRACKS
• Remote power door locks installed
• Everything works

The not so good:
• Slight oil leak (from oil pan gasket I think)
• Shakes a bit when cold (I assume the motor mounts are worn)

My original plan was to turn this into my track car when the girls were off to college, but they are both in private colleges so an extra Porsche is not in the cards.
